It doesn’t always have to be the Alps. At the Village Hotel, your closest ski resort is Pröller Skidreieck (Pröller Ski Triangle), where you as our guest can take advantage of a free day pass. Ski School Greil offers on-site skiing lessons. What’s more, you can find other lifts and ski resorts throughout the region for your winter enjoyment.
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing
The Nature Park and also the adjoining Bavarian Forest National Park are made for your own personal winter fairy tale thanks to their unspoilt nature. Enjoy winter hikes and snowshoeing far away from the noise and the hustle and bustle. Or set out on a training session immersed in nature on one of the many cross-country ski trails in the surrounding area.
Tobogganing, tobogganing...
The Village Hotel Bayerischer Wald has a hill which invites you to go tobogganing when it is covered in natural snow in the winter. You can hire toboggans from our hotel for a fee. In addition, in Pröller Skidreieck there is a prepared toboggan run as well as many other tobogganing opportunities throughout the Bavarian Forest. Enjoy winter tobogganing fun.
